Works great, like the original adapter. I wanted a second one for our living room so I wouldn't have to clear out the brick from my home office. Works the same way and my computer recognized it as a legitimate charger (although it's clearly not trademarked). Highly recommended! Save some money and buy this instead of the Dell original.
