Hello, I bought this Italian ironing board cover for twice the price at first but when I received it I didn't like the color, it was really dark anthracite gray where I wanted a light silver grey . So I sent it back and found this ironing board cover that was half the price and was the silver color I wanted. Now I've seen the most expensive and the cheapest and both are equally good quality. Why pay more? It was easy to put on, it fit very well and the elastic held everything in place where you almost didn't have to use the two velcro straps at the bottom, but of course I use them anyway and trim off the excess length that isn't needed. . And it fits perfectly. Now she was very, very wrinkled, like the Italian. But the more you smooth it, smooth it front to back; many of these wrinkles come out. You just have to flatten it with your hands. Then you take a steam iron and iron the rest - and everything will be perfect. The Italian case had a cord in the front that could be pulled and tightened, so I also figured that would be better. Not correct! It didn't matter to this one I kept. They sewed a shorter end to fit better and it fits well. The padding was very thick on both, so there was no difference in quality. Bottom line... Buy this case for the best quality and best fit.
