I love these belts! Initially I had a brown one with a sharp gold and brass buckle. I liked it so much that a few days later I bought a black belt. This is an awesome design! The clasp in the buckle is held in place by a plastic strip on the back of the belt. To tighten the strap all you have to do is grab the buckle and pull the leather a little, and to loosen the strap simply pull the tab on the buckle. Leather appears to be of good quality ie quite thick and with a nice finish. The advantage is that the belt can be shortened to the desired length. My waist is 43 or 44 inches. I read a review that these belts run on the small side, so I took a 44-50 inch belt and cut it to size. I got frustrated running all over town trying to find a quality leather belt at a decent price (ie less than $60). Now I know where I will buy belts!
