I was pretty skeptical about this stuff but it really works! Normally my gym clothes seemed clean after washing, but after I put them on I could tell that they still smelled of STUFF 10 minutes after I sat in class or practice. Regardless of the amount of detergent I added to the laundry, the smell returned. drove me crazy Within a week of using the active detergent, that lingering "smell bomb" was gone! I AM SO IMPRESSED. Most of my gym clothes stopped smelling after one wash, even though the scoop was so small. I had a pair of unruly leggings and a sports bra. A wash didn't remove enough crap to make it like new. It took a few extra washes. I tried two different washing methods and to be honest I think they gave almost the same results. For the first load, I simply washed the clothes in cold water with a spoonful of detergent and rinsed twice. It took about 2-3 washes to get rid of all the dirt, but since then they've been perfect in a regular wash (with a strong detergent). Detergent, I washed them regularly. This method didn't seem to do much in terms of results, so I'd recommend just washing it a few times in a row if you really want to start "fixing" your clothes. I'm not a big fan of soaks (unless they're necessary) because they're tedious and so far don't seem necessary to get results with active detergent. Overall, this is the best sports detergent I've ever used and I'm thrilled I don't have to spend a few hundred bucks more on Lulu's new leggings haha. My opinion: it's worth it!
