Review on Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm: Vitamin E & Peppermint Pack of 6 - 0.15 oz Each by Billy Balwin

Always delights my lips

I always need a lip balm. When my lips are dry I get cold sores and then suffer for a few weeks until it heals. So I tried many lip balm brands looking for something that would keep my lips moisturized for a long time and feel good during application. Burt's Bees lip balm is my favorite. I like my lips to look natural. The beeswax base protects the lips without making them greasy. It is quite firm, the balm does not melt in the tube and does not smudge when applied in hot weather. I love the hint of peppermint oil that leaves a nice tingling sensation on the lips, it's refreshing. Overall, the balm has a slight minty smell and taste, but I don't find it overpowering or bothersome when I'm hungry. Usually two applications of the balm are enough for the whole day. I'm still experimenting with other brands to see if there's something better or cheaper than I can use, but for some reason (probably ingredients) other balms crack my skin. out and I have to go back to using Burt's Bees. It always soothes my lips instantly and when experimenting with other balms I always have to make sure I have at least a tube of Burt's Bees as a backup. Burt's Bees Lip Balm Ingredients List: Beeswax, Coconut Oil. , Sunflower Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate and Tocopherol, Lanolin, Peppermint Oil, Comfrey Root Extract, Rosemary Extract. Local stores sell this balm for around $3 a tube, so buying in bulk from Revain is a steal.
