Black, not blue, and with bonus features!

Bought this stroller even though it looked like a navy blue leopard in the photo. The description does not state what color the stroller is. I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to find that it was black in color to match the leopard print. The description also doesn't mention two 'windows', one at the top and one at the back, that allow you to see your pet and your pet to see you. One reviewer complained that it was difficult to figure out how to assemble wheels, axles, etc. and that the instructions weren't very good. I didn't think that was true. Where photos or instructions were not entirely obvious at first glance, I simply studied the relevant parts and assembly was obvious. For those having trouble I took pictures of the rear wheel and front wheel assembly that might help. My 15kg Bichon, Daisy, fits in the stroller with no extra space (see photo) but I didn't want to take a bigger or heavier stroller. I like that the hood doesn't have a zipper. The hood with windscreen can be removed in various ways. You can simply remove the front glass or partially or completely remove the entire hood with the screen. I was pleased with the presence of a built-in leash, which was also not mentioned in the description. The bottom of the stroller, with its removable leopard print liner, is a hard surface not designed for comfort. I added a soft lining that I made from quilting and velor from a fabric store. Then, to seal and protect from dirt, I removed the hard plastic film inside the leopard print liner and just placed the liner on top of the liner. The stroller is very manoeuvrable. Foot brakes for both rear wheels are an important safety feature. I had a previous stroller that rolled away in the parking lot when I turned away for a moment. I read a review that complained about the vibration or wobble of the front wheels on a less smooth surface. I drove over rough cobblestones with gaps in between. The front wheels moved to smooth out bumps. That's what they're made for, but Daisy didn't find it difficult. Another reviewer for one of these strollers said that when the rear of the stroller was lifted, the rear wheels fell off. This is because you did not read or follow the instructions. The rear wheels must be pushed in until they engage. This is a well-designed little stroller for walking, not running. It allows me to take Daisy places she wouldn't otherwise be allowed to go. Some of the other, more expensive Pet Gear strollers are made for larger dogs or runners, but this is perfect for what I need.
