Review on Parker 26C Handle Double Premium by Amanda Brown

I am new to the world of wet shaving and this razor is my second razor purchase. My first purchase was a butterfly razor from VDH. This is a great razor to start with and get an idea of what blades are right for you. After mastering the basic technique, I decided to look for another razor. After carefully reading other people's reviews and comments on Revain, Youtube and various blogs, I decided to purchase the Parker 26c. An excellent choice on my part. I've had the razor for about a month now and I like it more and more each time. Here's what I like about it: The grip is heavy, but it feels like quality, not just dead weight so to speak. The knurling is very comfortable and persistent even with soapy hands. The open comb design is not aggressive at all. I guess that's just how I shave. The fit and finish of each razor I received is very good. There are no flaws in the workmanship at all. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I'm sure I will be buying more razors in the future but at this point in my world this razor deserves the 5 stars I gave it. For reference: I use platinum blades from Astra. I have not tried the sharks included in this pack. The Astra blades work too well for me to change anything. Summary of my review. I think this is a great razor for anyone, especially the relative newbie looking to add to their collection.
