I want this belt to really like me and I can't say I hate it but it looks like a school friend that you will never meet passionately , but continues to date her because it's easy. The Grip 6 belt is a great idea as it has no moving parts and is a great choice for jeans and casual wear. The modular choice of belt and buckle colors really suits a system solution. When worn with jeans I find it to be a classy looking belt and basically does the job. My issue with the Grip 6 belt is that as a friction belt, it pretty much only adjusts to the diameter that "is doing the work right now". . I usually like a tight little belt and you would think you could tighten it if you pull hard, but eventually the friction dynamics work against tightening it. Also, like pretty much every belt I've ever owned (with the exception of my US Army issue), the belt has a mark or "kink" right at the most common point of friction, again making it difficult to tension the belt . Some honest info, I'm definitely not my military weight anymore and I have the typical spare tire that most of us American Midwest men design. But I still have a waist and I don't need braces. Do I want a refund? no Will I stop wearing it? no Will I buy again? Probably no.
