This jacket has everything I need for cool weather running. It's much lighter than it looks (the wind goes through it), it has a hood and the pockets have zips. Added bonus: Inside there are two large pockets for a water bottle and possibly extra groceries (although they don't have a zipper). The pockets are warmer than the rest of the jacket, which is nice on your hands, and there's extra stretch detailing behind the cuffs to tuck your thumbs in to keep your hands warm. The zipper is well thought out. The material is very soft and does not irritate the skin. Defects. The hood is gigantic - it fits three heads. Although the fabric is slightly reflective you will need to wear something reflective to stay safe at night. There is no loop for hanging on a hook (must be hung with the hood). There is no small high pocket for a phone or MP3 player like in many track jackets. There's no elastic at the waist to keep the wind out (but it's still a lightweight jacket).
