Nothing against the Amish, but I didn't like this product. I bought it to tame some latecomers. He smells good. And using the recommended method (melt a small amount between your palms) works. But I've found that if I use enough to really control the hair, it definitely looks like I have something in my beard. If I don't do this, it won't affect the specific unruly hair I'm trying to control. Or maybe it's just me? Of course, except I've found that the balm I bought from CVS works better in a pinch, and it's just a balm. And the bear oil I wrote about earlier seems to help tame the hair BEFORE it becomes a problem. But it's entirely possible that you just need to be a true Badass Amish (or Badass Chassid, if you like) to rock this product. But not for me. Maybe I'll try it on my eyebrows.
