I bought this for my 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis GS. It was the perfect solution. I looked at some other ideas, mainly the ones hanging from the headrest. I think I made the right choice. This bag seems to be really well made. A few Velcro straps (mostly) keep it open, otherwise it can be folded up for storage when not in use. My seats are cloth and both are mostly multi-seat (split in the front) with seat belts for six (although that would be a little uncomfortable). This provides enough space for the bag to fit comfortably between two people (length goes front to back) and not slide on or off the seat. I'm usually alone so I flip it sideways to the passenger seat next to me (length goes side to side). The build quality seems pretty decent, and the design is good too. The two tall pockets easily fit a 1 liter water bottle (in an insulating cap) which is basically what I wanted it for. My water bottles rolled all over the place. (Something like a bottle of Gatorade fits easily in this bag and is easy to grab.) The middle bags have a slightly larger opening. One of them has several pockets for pencils and pens (good). I keep a 1 liter yogurt container in one for the trash and another for a baseball cap, sunglasses etc. They're big enough for a hamburger and fries (if you do this while driving) and don't end up in the trash. "> The shorter side pockets easily fit a medium to large sized drink, but I use them for cell phone accessories, hand cream, snack bars, etc. There is a handle in the middle which makes it quite a handy bag to carry around easily can be slid into the trunk with one hand (although the Velcro straps holding the inner pockets tend to come loose, which isn't really a problem as it only happens when I lift it up and the outer pocket is full length and I needed the nifty strap at the top Not the end, but as the pictures show, it may come in handy for some.
