Review on 🎧 Meidong KY06 Wireless Earbuds V5.0: Premium Sound, Deep Bass, Waterproof IPX6, with Touch Control & Mic - Upgraded by Karen Cooper

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good sound quality, passive noise cancellation works, great battery life

EDIT 04/06/20: Terrible audio reception on the mic. The signal drops off and is too weak at best. It's pretty much unforgivable for anything that pretends to be respectable headphones or costs more than $30. Unfortunately I find this to be a recurring theme for this brand compared to Airpods. They're good in every other way, but not for making calls. In my seemingly endless search for the right pair of headphones, I am adding them to my growing list of choices. Overall, I really like the intuitive controls - they present one of the most minimal learning curves I've ever experienced to get full functionality. It may seem like a small thing, but to me everything counts for someone. They also sound very good, with surprisingly rich bass for such small speakers. While you won't confuse these with the latest $300 best audiophile headphones, I think most people will find it easy to enjoy music with these headphones. This is no small thing either. My only complaint (and it's a common one) is that the maximum volume is a bit lower than I'd like. If you're on an airplane and just want to block out engine noise, this little extra feature is really helpful, especially when active noise cancellation isn't available. In conclusion, we can say that these are good headphones in general. If I had to rate them relative to the $40 price I paid I would give them 4 stars, maybe 3.5 if they were more expensive. To be honest I would give them a full 5 stars if they cost closer to $30 net worth. You can get better, but not without significantly more salary. It's cheaper, but you can't do without crappy headphones in most cases.
