This monitor has a clear picture day and night. The night can be displayed in color or black and white. The night light can be switched on or off on the monitor. Wide angle, which I like, but can be increased if necessary. The sound is FANTASTIC. When I'm in the kitchen, I hear myself being caught on the monitor with a microphone from another room where the camera is located. I can hear everything in my kid's room when this thing is on and I love it! You can set an alarm when the monitor hears noise and also set an alarm when the monitor sees motion. You can also adjust the sound/motion sensitivity. I LOVE this new set. This set also appears to be significantly stronger than other brands we've tried. All in all it couldn't be better. I get crisp images - sound/motion alerts - and crystal clear audio...even with rain in the background. I LOVE this monitor! Cons: When playing music or audio from the camera, the monitor is very loud. I wouldn't use the music or rain sound features on the camera, but that's not a problem for us as we have a separate rain sound generator for that. One note... If it's damaged... Revain will replace it within 90 minutes. days. However, if something happens after 90 days, you must already purchase a protection plan for the warranty to work. After receiving the monitor, you cannot purchase any warranty.
