product looks as described; it is very flexible and light and seems durable. Unfortunately, my phone does not connect to Android Auto. The Android Auto app stays activated/open on my phone, but the car doesn't register that anything is connected. I reconnected my original cable which I wanted to replace and it still works fine, I just wanted a flexible one. I'd leave it at the price, but it doesn't charge quickly either. So yes, it's a waste of money. I will find and buy one that actually does what it says on the tin.
