I love-hate these hoop earrings. They look and feel really good. It was very difficult to snap either of the 8mm and 10mm locks - the hinges just didn't match. It took a lot of fiddling (and some help) to close them. After a little over a week with no problems, one of the 10mm tires decided it didn't want to stay closed anymore; it almost fell out of my ear while I slept. I took it out to examine it and it no longer closes even when leveled. I'll try to give it a twist as I can't do any worse than not working. I changed it to 12mm.
