Black leather strap thin and hard out of the box. After a small amount of olive oil and hand working the ribbon, it became softer and more pliable. It's small. I have an average male wrist (about the fourth hole before last on the LG Fitbit band) and I'm on the second to last hole on this band. Overall I like it, let's see how it holds up. $20, not bad.
