Review on ๐Ÿ’ฆ MSI MAG CORELIQUID 360R: Advanced Rotatable Blockhead Design with 360mm Radiator and Triple 120mm aRGB PWM Fans - AIO CPU Liquid Cooler by Barbara Murphy

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great cooling, but not so quiet fan!

**Note. I installed it in a push-pull configuration as an air intake on the front of a NZXT H700 case with 3 additional 120mm Thermaltake ARGB fans (TT-1225). See pictures. **MSI has developed a massive heatsink with a built-in pump. The pump is decent and does its job well, although most of the time it's not audible. It cools the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor. There were significant temperature improvements over the stock Wraith Prism cooler that comes with the CPU. The processor overheated with a standard cooler under heavy load during testing or gaming with maximum settings, but this is no longer a problem here. Idle temperatures dropped more than 10 degrees to around 33 degrees, while gaming and benchmarks saw a steady 5-7 degree drop. At first, the fans were quite quiet. However, the fans started making noises after about 2 weeks of running the cooler. Due to the fact that they were ball bearings I expected they would make a very slight noise due to the general mechanical nature of a ball bearing fan. I didn't expect them to start making the grinding noises that all 8 fans in my system now hear. I'll contact MSI and ask for a replacement, but I'm afraid the replacement units will do the same sooner rather than later.

  • Economical
Cons
  • Upgradable
