I recently bought an antique dresser. I have these cedar balls and blocks along with lavender essential oils and flowers placed in little muslin bags in each drawer. The scent was just to die for! While it may seem overwhelming at first, the cedar and lavender tend to even out within a few weeks. This is because the essential oils in the wood and lavender are themselves quite volatile so there is little natural evaporation. Don't let that fool you. It still works. If needed, just add a few drops to the cedar balls in the pouch and the scent will revive. All you have left is sheets, clothes or anything else that smells wonderful. It definitely outperforms some of the other non-natural scents on the market and is better for the environment too!
