Review on Van Caro Women's Silk Scarf for Spring: Fashionable Shawl Wrap for Hair & Neck by Holly Bell

I hand washed this scarf in the sink and then laying it on a towel I could see where the threads were already snapping and creating tiny holes. I haven't even worn it yet. So I would say to anyone who does this, don't wash it and it should take longer before the threads start to separate. I gave him a 2nd star knowing he would be thin and beautiful. But I didn't think that gently washing your hands would start it falling apart. I cannot recommend this scarf.
