A little long: Harnesses
I have a Great Dane puppy who is very keen on sitting in the front seat with me. Although this is adjustable, even at the shortest length she can still climb into the front seat. I bought a Leash Lock buckle for a regular leash and added it to this mount to hold it in the back seat. It works and is easy to use, but be aware that a very determined pup could get into your front seat. I drive a Jeep Wrangler, if that helps.
