The best part about using this library for our web servers was that it could secure multiple applications at once, without having to install any additional software (we were still running inetd).

I also liked how easy their documentation made installation look like! Nothing really -- just as long you have some knowledge of C/C++ programming they're fairly straight forward if not super intuitive; although we found ourselves needing help from time-to-time with setting up certificates or something else along those lines so maybe more user friendly would be nice? Otherwise no complaints here :) We used them primarily because we didn't want other people installing third party libraries due lack information regarding risk factors but after realizing what all risks are associated - now its pretty much impossible :D They helped us get around many different problems when trying to securely use various protocols such FTP etc., which allowed easier development.
