I put it under the back seat of a 2019 Ram 1500 with Anc. I plugged it in and bypassed the noise-canceling system by placing the mics under the driver's seat. If you don't do this on new RAM with this system, the subwoofer will make a loud feedback noise when you move it. The truck is no louder than with anc enabled. i don't miss it The subwoofer is very well made and sounds fantastic. I've compared it to the factory subwoofer that comes with high end trucks but not mine and it sounds better with a cleaner and louder sound. It fills low frequencies without overpowering factory speakers. If you want something better than the factory and don't want to rack your brains, then this subwoofer is for you. Best value for money and easy installation if you know about wiring and electrical work. Very happy with the purchase. Was alpine and he died after 2 months of use. I'll tell you about the durability later. Ps sounds much better than the alpine version.
