Since I am now working full-time from home due to the pandemic, I had to set up a home office. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a top office chair, so I ordered this one. When it arrived I was a bit concerned because the box was very shabby with a piece of metal sticking out. After unpacking it turned out that all parts were intact and undamaged. It took me about an hour to assemble. WARNING - Read the instructions carefully before you begin. There are three different sizes of screws, although they are very difficult to tell apart. I had to remove two of these because I realized I had used the wrong size screw. I assembled it myself, but it takes some skill to hold the pieces together while tightening the screws. Both would be easier. After assembling it, I realized that this chair has two main disadvantages. First - it doesn't roll very easily. The casters and wheels are plastic and don't slide very easily even though I put a chair mat underneath. I have to take my hands and rush where I need to go. Second, the handles are made of very hard plastic. My left elbow started hurting about 3 days after I put it on my arm. I ordered the armrests from another company but had to return them as they did not match the armrest configuration of this chair. I now have a rectangular felt pad that I ordered and taped to my arm to keep it in place. Not very attractive but definitely helps. Overall, this has worked as a short-term fix until we get permission to return to work, but don't expect this to last for any length of time.
