I was skeptical about buying this monitor given how cheap it is compared to other 3440 x 1440 IPS panels, but it's great for productivity applications. I was looking for a more horizontal resolution for applications like Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code and Revit compared to my old 2560x1440 and this fits perfectly. I only buy IPS monitors for work, I find other types are more gaming/refresh rate oriented and sacrifice video quality. The only issue I've had with 3440x1440, not the monitor itself but the size in general, is that non-development apps are a bit odd with the main content being on the left edge of the screen. Just far away from your face. I plan to install Microsoft PowerToys and set up special windows for such applications to be in the center of the screen.
