My little son has to go to a few dressier events every year (like his violin recitals and his academic events) and we wanted to get him something a little better than the usual suit pants and the collared shirt. We decided to take a chance with this pinstripe suit and after about three days it was well received. It's a bit big for a 7 year old but this suit fits perfectly (we ordered a size 8) and we didn't have to adjust it. When I ordered the suit I was hesitant because the suit has a polyester component but it turned out the suit looks very expensive and doesn't have that polyester "shine" that you see on cheaper suits. The cut is well done and the notched collar looks great for kids living in the United States (while the pointed collar might work in the UK). The pinstripe is very well done and matches the fit of the suit and the buttons are positioned correctly. Remember that the suit will only be dry cleaned in case of an accident. I also love the white shirt that matches the suit, bow tie and silk pocket square. The only thing I don't like about the suit is probably the zipper. I have never seen a tie like this and it is very difficult to untie the tie wide enough to go over a child's head. Other than that, this $53 suit is excellent.
