Very light and yet very strong. I just ball it up and shove it behind the seat of my old Mack Wheeler and when I get caught in the rain it pops up quickly and slides off. This gives you the option of either zipping up for quick dressing or zipping up when it's very windy and rainy. There is no protection against the cold here, but it keeps the upper body dry very well.
