Before buying this wallet I read several reviews, many mentioned a strange smell, it's called leather and that's because it's a genuine genuine leather wallet acts , done with such thoroughness and detail. It's a bit heavy, but again that's because it's real leather, but it's worth the money and will last a while if not forever with proper care. I bought this to match a brown leather wallet I bought recently as all my wallets are black leather. So this is a first time for me and a great purchase if you are considering a purchase.
