Yes this would work well for restaurant table menus, if you have a modern decor at home for your photos I can think of SEVERAL uses for it. Artwork by kids, photos, recipes, to-do lists, calendars, bills to pay this week, teachers to showcase work at school. MY reason was that I now have a double sided desk at home and one of my views is the back of another computer's monitor with cables. I put 2 of these next to each other to hide it and I put my calendar on top. Now none of us have a terrible view, and space is useful. They are protected by plastic and shine like glass. I would ONLY use water and a soft microfiber towel to clean them, no looped microfiber terry towels that look like fur. Some cleaning products will immediately etch the surface, tarnish and make it look awful. When it arrives it looks like glass.
