After getting it in the mail I needed it to connect my headphones to my new Bose speakers. Bose speakers have a headphone jack right at the front. My headphone jack is (obviously) USB. I plugged it into the speaker jack and it just didn't work. I tried plugging it into the headphone jack on the front of the computer and still nothing. I've changed the settings with no success. The headphones didn't even register on my PC and there was no connection error. I do not know, Is it a bad adapter or am I missing something else? It costs less than $6
