I've always wanted realistic looking bins for anywhere in the house except the kitchen. I love to recycle very much, but whatever (non-obvious) systems I've used for myself in other parts of the house, they haven't been as intuitive for young children, visitors, guests, or the occasional household expense. I use one next to the mini fridge where we keep sodas and beer so we can conveniently recycle empty containers nearby and another in our home office to recycle office paper etc. We have single stream curbside recycling so we can easily fill this volume with a mix of recyclables in a week and just dump it in our curbside bin and really put more recyclables in than we used to. They are also very durable, easy to clean and the lip around the top makes it easy to grab and empty. I love that they are made in the USA, so I feel comfortable with the ingredients and fair labor practices of the product. more of that. All in all I would recommend them.
