This spigot is approximately $5-10 less than comparable food grade stainless steel spigots. Since it had a plastic nozzle and I didn't know how cleanly I could heat it, I decided to replace it. This is a very good quality product. Exactly what I expected when I bought one of the more expensive versions. It's simple and practical without the extra decorations that some models starting at $12 have. Easy to install, no tools required as my hand can easily fit inside the glass to tighten the nut. I left the vessel filled with water for several hours. and there were no leaks. Sometimes a drop will drip after dispensing but not after that, so I just hold the glass under the faucet for a second more to catch the drip and I don't have any messy splatters.
