Review on FIDELO Carbon Fiber Slim Wallet by Adam Hogan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Superb minimalist wallet

Pros: 1. Extremely light and (seemingly) durable2. Sleek look (if you like the look of carbon fiber) 3. Ideal for credit/debit cards, driver's licenses, etc. 4. Four durable straps included5. Simple and easy to use6. The minimalist style makes it easy to carry in the front pocket7. Paper money can be folded in thirds to fit into ribbon or cards. Cons: 1: The strips have a piece of carbon fiber to connect them which raises the profile a bit as it doesn't lay completely flat (note: I don't think they should get rid of it but if there was a way flatter would be better .) 2. Smart cards can only be inserted in one direction (because of card ejection cutout), otherwise it defeats the purpose of the RFID blocking function.3. Maps don't fan out as easily as videos etc, so choosing the right map is a bit more difficult4. For those who want to put business cards in, they may not fit properly. Overall, the FIDELO Carbon Fiber Minimalist Wallet is a great product of its kind. It's extremely light and durable (haven't tried any severe stress tests so take that into account). The minimalist profile makes it easy to carry in almost any pocket, etc. You're limited to around 10 cards for easy drawing (although more will fit), so if you're carrying a lot more this might not work for you. The included straps are strong and well stitched. The cards may not fan out as shown in the video, but they are still easy to remove and insert. All standard credit cards and IDs fit perfectly, but business cards and other larger cards may protrude from the sides. The biggest problem, if you can call it that, is remembering to put all cards with a chip in a certain direction. ; The chip must face the closed end (end without a notch) to ensure RFID blocking. That sounds like common sense, but if you're in a hurry or don't pay close attention to your card as you insert it, you can also place it upside down. My old minimalist Roco wallet had cut outs on the sides so it didn't matter which way you put the card in. This is a small issue but may be important for some people. I really recommend this wallet to anyone who wants a minimalist style wallet.
