Connect everything to your new MacBook Air M1

When I first used my new M1 I was disappointed with the switch to two identical ports. I couldn't connect anything to my laptop. This new "Multiport" allows me to use (almost?) anything with my device. I'm still unhappy with the changes Apple has made, but this makes them so much easier to use!

Pros

ULTRA HD 4K OUTPUT: Mirror the screen of your USB-C laptop or phone in 4K HD or Full HD 1080P via HDMI or VGA. It is compact and easily connects to TVs, monitors and projectors for presentations, conference calls and home theater. After connecting HDMI and VGA cables at the same time, the maximum resolution for each display is 1080P@60Hz. Note: For video output, your device's Type-C port must support DP Alternate Mode (Thunderbolt 3).
