Rewrite review. I bought this watch in January 2015 for $16.31, dragged it through indoor and outdoor pools, oceans and seas, changed time zones (without caring about the date) and let it sit. I just swim in circles and slowly, so I can't tell if it can handle real gym wear. Some pools contained chemicals that corroded the pendant's gold, but this did not affect the watch. The soft strap faded to light cream/beige almost immediately, while the hard plastic buckle and dial retained their brilliant white sheen. The watch shows the time, changes the time and I can swim with it. It works so well and is so attractive that I'm considering wearing it more often and bought two more today marked "$29.95 offer reduced to $17.85". Another reason I'm buying more is that I'll beat myself up if I lose this one and can't replace it with another. fuse!
