I have two Boston Terriers, Molly weighs 14 pounds and Luna is 4.5 months old. I've brushed their teeth since they were little and taught them how to brush independently under supervision. These toothbrushes can really withstand a small dog's aggressive chewing, and not once have they been able to pull out the bristles or break the plastic, which is actually more like nylon, to keep them from becoming brittle. I use chicken flavored virbac which is the only pasta they love and they come running when I ask them to brush their teeth! You have 100% white teeth! They actually hold the brush between their paws and work it around their teeth, chewing on the brush as it cleans their teeth. It was also a great teething device and it compresses her gums so there was no problem with bleeding gums. This is by far the strongest and best toothbrush I have tried, puppies love them and are very excited when they see them. I wouldn't leave them unattended just in case, especially with a large dog, but I highly recommend these brushes and will have them on hand at all times. I get about two weeks out of one and then replace it.
