I have been using an old Norelco razor for over 15 years. I rarely had to change blades, but figured it was time to replace them. The new blades came in and on my first shave they literally pulled my hair out of my face instead of cutting it. I checked the setup and then took a closer look at the blades themselves. My 5 year old blades have a clean, flat and sharp edge while these new blades tend to look dull on the ends. No matter how hard I pushed or how many passes I made, they left stubble. I cleaned my old blades with warm water and a brush and put them back in. I would have thought I received defective blades, if I didn't, many other reviews say the same. I will continue to use my 5 year old blades until I have to buy a new razor at this price.
