I bought these boots last winter to wear once on an artificial snow surface (Florida). I bought the size she was wearing at the time and they were quite roomy but she was able to wear them to the event. A year later I pulled them out to see if they were suitable for use with pirate gear. Now they fit perfectly and have become her favorite everyday shoes. She gets a lot of compliments because they look cute and stylish for a little kid. She is easy to put on and take off what she likes. In comparison, they definitely fit a full size larger than Carter's/Oshkosh or Payless sizes.
