I was afraid they would look ridiculous on my 18 month old girl. They are AMAZING and go with all of her everyday outfits. I'm not worried about her finding a puddle or mud or stepping on the edge of our lake and ruining her white shoes. They are breathable and don't leave foot odor at the end of the day. They make great mudguards as their feet won't slip out. They are easy to clean with a damp cloth or a magic eraser. I will keep measuring. She wears a size 5 Converse and we ordered a size 5.
