I carry a small fishing boat and a portable Bluetooth speaker to listen to music from my phone or stream media, podcasts, radio, etc. I connected it to the onboard battery with a toggle switch, connected it to the speakers and connected it to my phone. I put it in a plastic bag and installed it under the velcro console. No problem, flip the switch and play all media from my phone. The sound is perfect for the boat and there is no need to adjust the volume on the unit as you are using your phone. Perfect for my needs. Very satisfied and as long as the device works.
