Review on 🧼 Hoover Onepwr Spotless Go Portable Cordless Carpet and Upholstery Spot Cleaner, Lightweight BH12010, White by Barry Hill

Revainrating 2 out of 5

No suction but looks good

I love how this device looks/feels. It seems like a really well made tool. However, I did charge the battery and turn it on to make sure it was working. and there was very light suction. smaller than my rechargeable dust bag. I removed the tank and felt suction from the main area underneath and that suction seemed to be "enough" to suck up water. But when assembled, it wasn't strong enough to soak up the water it spilled. Something might be interfering with the suction power inside, but this was a brand new unit and I didn't want to take it apart and figure out what was really wrong. Also, I feel a little cheated because if you look elsewhere for the Hoover Spotless Go, you'll find that it gets an average 2-star rating elsewhere. Most people say it leaks or has low suction. I don't know why/how this listing got an almost 5 star rating for this particular listing. Better use a spray bottle and towel than this device. Indeed, this is his design. There is a spray nozzle and a water pump. you clean I'm trying a different wired model. In hindsight, however, a small store-bought vacuum, a brush, and some soap and water seems much easier and more versatile than this type of device. EDIT AFTER RETURNS: I did this review without using it to clean carpets or upholstery. I appreciated its suction power after fully charging and turning it on. I've since bought the wired version of this unit (almost $40 cheaper) and the suction power wasn't any better (at first). BUT I thought it was from a leak around the knob/knob. I sealed it with tape, which increased the suction power a bit. When researching this device after receiving it, I found all the negative reviews about leaks and the like. Maybe it's fixed now, I don't know. but I didn't want to know.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No mold required
