That's why I installed it in the hope that the fear of losing the bag would go away. Thank god was the first trip club. The guys behind me stopped me and when I stopped both bolts on the left bag came loose and the bag actually threatened to fall off. If we were still on the freeway, he'd be gone. Luckily we weren't making 35 until they noticed. I looked at the right pocket and one screw has already been loosened and there is no clip. So I couldn't pull it off at all. Tightened the 3 I had left over and had to tighten them while driving. Absolutely uncomfortable. So I didn't add Loctite to them as the screws were long and seemed very tight. I'm not sure if a spring would have helped though as it appears to have broken and completely detached from the bike. I have since removed them and will be ordering the Rik Rak version which seems to have much better reviews. Worth the extra money if I don't lose my bag on the freeway.
