Well that's a huge disappointment. The product was a little tedious to install, but I knew I was going for it. Though it wasn't as bad as I thought. Once set up, this thing was amazing. I also bought a steering wheel and I really liked it. Yes, it was expensive, but I don't mind paying a little more for a solid product. Yesterday I took my son, who turned 3 a few weeks ago, on his (our) first ride! Everything was going perfectly, at least that's what I thought until we got home and I noticed the seat was all the way up. I had a flat seat before we drove off and figured the 4 nuts were tight enough. My son is only 29lbs and the ride we took was very slow because I didn't want to scare him on the first ride hoping he would want to ride again. So when I noticed that the seat was sliding backwards, I re-tightened the 4 nuts (2 on each side) to prevent the seat from sliding again. When I re-tightened them they were already very tight so I don't know why the seat slipped but when I tightened one of the nuts the bolt broke! I didn't expect that from a product at this price. I thought I might go to Home Depot for better screws, but turns out the screws are built into the black metal side braces. Now I can't tighten the seat at all. Just one trip is all we have. Such a bummer because my son and I had so much fun together.
