Soft, but not as heavy as you would assume

This is a nice blanket, only bought it because it was over half off. It's not as thick as I was expecting and the color is much more orange than red. That's all okay because I just use it as a throw blanket. But if I had paid $40 I would be upset and return it. If you can get it under $20 and need a decent blanket by Eddie Bauer, go for it.
