Review on Aqua Ultraviolet AAV00029 Sterilizer Aquarium by Tonya Fisher

It's unbelievable how well this thing works! We have a small (500 gallon) pond with a large turtle that was completely green and full of algae. Tired of cleaning up everything for nothing. A friend recommended this product to us (actually a 15w unit, we decided to take it a step further for maximum sterilisation). After 4 days the water was crystal clear, wasn't it clear the first time you filled it? or 2" connectors, so had to make several trips to ACE HW and Lowes to find couplers/adapters (and ended up buying a custom adapter online). This will reduce the waterfall flow (we chose the 3/4" connection) but may change that in the future to see if that helps. For now, however, I can live with my prostate issues at the waterfall in exchange for the purity of the water. Turtle is a lucky tourist!
