I bought this leather part from Restoration Hardware at a big discount because there were two obvious spots on the seat cushions that appeared to have tape on them that had separated from the top layer of leather away. I was hoping I could fix it enough that it wasn't so obvious. You. People. That's incredible. After reading other reviews I spent over an hour trying to find the right color and I'm so glad I did. Once I got the color, application was a breeze. Company YouTube videos to apply make it easy and simple. It took about 4 thin coats, blow drying for a minute between each one, to give full coverage. I am very satisfied with the result. To show you the "after" stains in the photos, I had to run my hand across the leather to feel the difference in texture to find them. Because it is elastic paint rather than dye, there is a very subtle difference in skin feel. Besides, you'd never know I fixed that couch. and the guest will never be able to tell the difference in texture. it's so subtle. I've also included a photo of the entire sofa so you can see that the trim/satin sheen works well too. I don't have to order a matte or gloss finish from the company, although I know they will do that if needed. If you have damage to a leather part I would recommend this 100 times.
