When our little one started playing in the fridge and "forgot" to close the door several times a day, I started looking for a lock, to keep them out . This lock does exactly what I need while still being quick and easy for adults (unlike our closet locks, haha). Installation was very easy and there were two locks in the package so we now have another for the stove. !
