Short version: Good quality part, fits snugly on older 32" Ariens snow thrower journals. Note: An extended arm is required to align the shaft. You'll have to settle for buying two of these - one for each side (bearings and bulbs should always be replaced as a set. Trust me: if you don't you'll eventually catch up). Long version: I have an older Ariens 32" snowblower. It's probably approaching almost 40 seasons of snow in Minnesota and just won't stop. Until the axle box wears out. In this case, the gears that drive the wheels were no longer in Engaged and the blower couldn't move. You may notice a kind of cracking sound as the gears start to jump over each other. I hope you understand that until the problem is fixed you don't need to use the device anymore. At first I thought, that the old lady may have finally held her breath but was pleasantly surprised to realize it was just the posture. The replacement was as simple as taking the wheel off, knocking out the pin on the diff-lock (the knob on the axle that holds the wheels together) and ordering the pulling off, extending the outer axle shaft, replacing the bearing and installing everything in reverse - be sure to size up being gig with lube/bearing grease. (Note: This bearing is sealed so don't try to force grease in! You will probably just break it.) This particular bearing appears to be of good quality and works great for my car. I expect to live a long life from this but will update this review if I run into any issues. At the moment I highly recommend it. Well if you are going to do this job it would be a good idea to replace the bearings on both sides. Basically, they wear each other the same way, so even if they look good, the other side will probably fail soon. If you haven't done another annual maintenance, change the spark plugs, belts, oil, lubricate well and adjust. If you take care of your car, it won't let you down when you need it!
