I started using this product when I got pregnant after researching the best stretch mark reduction products. It seemed to get a lot of praise, so I gave it a try along with a few other oils. Honestly, the biggest benefit of this oil was the smell - the lavender scent is nice and light without offending my over-sensitive nose during the first trimester. The best oil on the market is of no use to you if the smell is so sweet and disgusting that you can't even use it. However, I also found this oil to absorb well and feel like it's really penetrating my skin rather than sitting on it. It was convenient to use after a morning shower and didn't leave greasy stains on clothes, making it a great day cream for my growing belly. I alternated it with Burt's Bees Belly Butter, which I only used at night because it was so thick and greasy it left oil stains on my pajamas and sheets (so not ideal for daytime use!). have two tiny, barely noticeable stretch marks at 38 weeks gestation. Considering the number of stretch marks my mother had during pregnancy and the number of stretch marks I have on my buttocks due to my teenage growth spurt, I feel this evidence is sufficient for the product to work and I would use it during use again in another pregnancy. . I only used it once a day after a shower, which is less than the recommended usage, and I used one bottle per trimester; When used as directed, I could see a bottle that would last a month. For those considering this product to help prevent stretch marks, I'd be remiss if I said I've used it as my only weapon. I've also exercised throughout my pregnancy, mostly eat healthy (although the first trimester was really tough, I won't lie there was too much salty food at that time!) and drank a gallon of water a day. I think it helped minimize my tendency to get stretch marks, but it really was the icing on the cake. It hydrated my skin so intensely that I didn't realize it until after my baby was born and I stopped using it. I immediately noticed a difference in how firm my skin became. I recommend this product in combination with a healthy diet and exercise. I am deducting a star because the price makes it difficult to use for its intended purpose and may be unreasonable for some people.
