I have X300 and X500 and decided to try it. As you become familiar with flying drones, each drone seems to have its own purpose and feel. The X300 is a great entry-level drone, while the x500 is a pro-level drone with features you'll find on the much more expensive DJI Mavic2. X400 is nimble and fast! It's smaller and lighter, so I recommend doing your first flight in light wind, so you can trim. What is the process by which the drone does not hover when you release the sticks, you can fine-tune it while hovering. This is the first thing I do when I take off with a drone every day. The drone has a setting where you can fly it faster, which I recommend for exciting races once you get used to the flight characteristics. The X400 also has a very fun one button kick flip feature. So you can fly and spin the barrels like a skilled stunt pilot. It's quite fun and impressive! The drone comes with an extra battery so you can charge one while flying the other. I use a battery for fast charging and alternate between batteries and my other two Syma drones. I fly it in sight as it is slightly smaller than the X500. I highly recommend experiencing this drone literally. You will not be disappointed. Check out the attached video to get an idea of the speed of this drone. And I don't even fly on the fastest settings
