I bought one of these Kitana soundbars to replace a 10 year old Logitech system and used it for almost a month before returning it. I don't consider myself a true audiophile but I have my own speaker systems from brands like Bose, Klipsch & Polk Audio. The Kitana soundbar has many flaws and is nowhere near as good as all the reviews say. Let's start with its terribly optimized software (which is an absolute must if you want it to sound decent!). The sound quality varies greatly! During use, whether gaming or listening to music, it can start out sounding good/full and then suddenly become uncomfortably loud; then just make a delicate noise, like listening to a speaker in a tin can. Every time I listened to something I had to turn on the EQ and try to make it sound right. As I mentioned the software is terrible and the soundbar keeps changing volume even with the auto volume turned off! The subwoofer was surprisingly good for what I was expecting, but it wasn't enough to justify holding it because the bar itself is unbearable to listen to. I don't recommend this to anyone. I can't believe this bar costs that much when there are so many better options out there like Edifier's Luna speakers or even better than Logitech's z906. I ended up buying a pair of Klipsch R-15M speakers for my PC and was very happy!
